London and Lyme

We finally got some days off work and got away to stay with Tom's lovely sister (and mum to be!) in Primrose Hill where we visited Melrose & Morgan and bought breakfast to have on her terrace in the sunshine, then we visited Borough Market and did some shopping, cheese tasting and went to visit Tom's friend Bill at his new Kappacasein cheese toastie's under one of the arches near Maltby Street market www.kappacasein.com then we headed to Lyme Regis for fish and chips and visited the family on our way home..

Up close and everyone's welcome...

Here are some of the things we do at my salon in Bath, from pedicure's, hair do's to eyebrow threading. We love our OBJECTS, which are what were all about, "it's all in the detail" is how our customers explain us...

Shed renovations

I just can't sit still, no sooner I get the salon number 2 up and running, I'm sifting through rightmove and primelocation looking for another project! Which can't happen for a couple more years. However were having a staff BBQ and 3rd birthday party for MG crew at home this weekend, so I figured a nice little daytime project would be to give our garden shed a bit of love. I picked up an old window from a reclamation yard and Tom cut out around it...

Tails of a lobster

Our weekend started off with a Saturday night in the garden under our sail cooking lobster tails on the aga, we had a broad bean and courgette salad, all grown from the garden and beetroot, carrot and new potatoes.. I only have a small vegetable plot but it's surprising how much grows in the sun trap that it is!
