Painting the tongue and groove panelling inside and out is pretty,practical and timeless even with undercoat and primer... This is just the first coat - paint to follow next weekend!

My birthday present from Tom on Thursday was this charming shepherd's hut that he made from scratch - he firstly bought 4 wheels from a scrap-yard in Pyle... then the rest followed.... Today i am starting to paint it, undercoat primer first and putting the table in.... We have packed a basket for breakfast - April is GREAT so far!!!
Went to visit my my Mum and cook her breakfast early this morning on the canal boat - love my Mum she is just the BEST!!
Tom has been poorly today so Sara and I got out his drill box and nails and set too hanging these old school clipboards - I have started to attach each one with projects I have "on the go" at the moment..... including new salon in Frome, garden, decorating lounge soon....(shepherds hut..! in my dreams)
This space is my favourite - we mismatched an old cheese bench top with some trestle legs - but these are not just any old trestle legs, Tom made them from the old floor in our kitchen....it makes a great desk in the window and the lamp is an old industrial find...
I have made some newspaper pot's for seed containers today - it's simple you just fold the newspaper and then roll around the base of a glass and then tuck the ends in, there really good for indoor seeds, and recycling newspaper..Today i have planted some courgette,basil and Cherry tomato seeds - these are all good to start off inside and will appear after 7-14 days, then I will transfer into my plot..they will be ready to harvest in June/July time..
